It is situated in a great location, just a short walk away from the beautiful harbour. The cottage itself is cozy and well-furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The communication with the owner was excellent, and they made sure that we had a pleasant experience from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed the log burner in the cottage with a warm and cozy atmosphere during our winter break. The cottage is also family-friendly, with plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. it was a fantastic value for money and a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.
While there is nothing we didn't like about the cottage, it's worth mentioning that the 70 steps leading up to the harbour can be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. this is to be expected in a hilly town like Brixham.

Cozy, well-decorated cottage with all necessary amenities. Helpful and quick-responding host. Close proximity to charming harbor. Ideal for families, even allows pets. Highly recommended for a delightful holiday.

We absolutely loved the cosy and comfortable atmosphere of Saltys Cottage. the beautifully decorated bedrooms provided ample space for our small family. the well-equipped kitchen and small courtyard garden were perfect for cooking and enjoying the morning sun. the location, midway up the picturesque Temperance Steps, made it easy to access the town's shops, restaurants, and harbour. the host's helpful and timely communications added to our enjoyable stay.
We felt spoilt, no complaints.
